Apple’s accelerator for MBEs on cutting-edge of green technology, clean energy
Apple is accepting applications for its 2022 Impact Accelerator, a program for Black-, Hispanic/Latinx- and
Indigenous-owned companies on the cutting edge of green technology and clean
energy.
The program is an
important component of Apple’s strategy
to be 100% carbon neutral by 2030
and a part of its $130 million Racial Equity
and Justice Initiative (REJI). It is
designed as a capacity-building program for late-stage startups or mature firms
and organizations that offer innovative solutions, applications and processes
aligned with Apple’s three environmental priority areas: climate change, resources and smarter chemistry.
Apple Supplier
Diversity helps drive the Impact Accelerator with a shared goal to increase
diverse supplier development in environment and sustainability.
The 12-week program will be held virtually
beginning in August 2022 and
includes:
- Targeted training
- 1:1 mentorship
- Executive training
- Alumni network
