This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) requests applications from eligible institutions of higher educations for proposals to develop and implement programs for the education and training of undergraduate students in subjects directly relating to successful entrepreneurship.

The proposals must align with the Minority Business Development Agency’s strategic mission goals to support minority business enterprises (MBEs), including building a diverse entrepreneurial pipeline to grow the number of MBEs, and the Administration’s strategic priority to advance racial equity and support for underserved communities through the Federal government.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted to Grants.gov no later than May 25, 2022, at 11:59 PM EST

Minority Colleges and Universities Grant Pre-Application Conference May 5, 2022, 2 PM - 3 PM EST

MBDA will provide general competition and funding opportunity information, key changes from previous competitions, and competition key dates and logistics. Conference will conclude with a live question and answer session.

Minority Colleges and Universities Grant Program Priorities May 12, 2022 | 2 PM - 3 PM EST

MBDA will outline program priorities and objectives of Business Centers, which include providing MBEs with expert business development, capacity building, and navigation of the economic landscape. Conference will highlight real-world examples to highlight aim of the Business Center program. Conference will conclude with a live question and answer session.

Minority Colleges and Universities Grant- Measuring Success & Budget Pitfalls May 19, 2022 | 2 PM - 3 PM EST

MBDA will highlight Business Center operations best practices and pitfalls to avoid when developing Business Center budget and workplan. Conference will conclude with a live question and answer session.
