UNCF offers several national and regional scholarships and job opportunities that close in February. Apply today!
UNCF has been a part of Black history for more than 75 years, and continues to make history by providing students like you a way to and through college. Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. Mary Holloway McCoo, M.D. and Wayman Glenn McCoo, Sr. M.D. Scholarship
This one-time scholarship opportunity is open to second-year or greater full-time medical students pursuing an M.D. degree program, and will award $2,500 in the Spring semester and $2,500 in the fall semester. Closes Feb. 10.
MetLife Foundation Scholarship Fund
The program offers need-based scholarships to qualified African American accounting, business or finance majors who were juniors in the fall of 2021 (Class of 2023) enrolled at accredited four-year HBCUs. Closes Feb. 10.
Synovus Bank/Calvin Smyre Endowed Scholarship
The scholarship program is for Black sophomores who attend colleges and universities within Synovus’ regional footprint of Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and South Carolina. One scholarship will be designated to go to a student attending Calvin Smyre’s alma mater Fort Valley State University (FVSU). Closes Feb. 14.
Jay Charles Levine Scholarship (Michigan)
This $3,200 need-based scholarship is open to college freshmen from the state of Michigan, who are full-time students at a UNCF member school. Closes Feb. 21.
Colgate Palmolive Webinars
Students who attend at least two of four webinars from CP and UNCF offering valuable career insights are eligible to apply for one of four $7,800 merit-based scholarships. First webinar is Feb. 9. Offer closes Feb. 24.
Fort Wayne Indiana Scholarship Program
The program is open to students from Northeastern Indiana, who are pursuing any major, with preference given to students majoring in the natural sciences, accounting, finance, marketing, informational systems or business management related studies. Closes Feb. 28.
Enterprise Holdings ROAD Forward Scholarship
This program offers need-based assistance for first-generation (first from their immediate family members to attend college) African American freshmen, currently attending a UNCF-member institution, to help their journey to and through college. Closes Feb. 28.
UNCF Medline Corporate Scholars
The program is for full-time enrolled juniors majoring in business, marketing, accounting, finance, health care management and nursing and whose college experience demonstrates leadership and analytical ability during their college career. Candidates will be selected to intern for summer 2022. Closes Feb. 28.
ABCNJ Lulu Fleming Scholarship Program
The program provides three merit-based $3,000 scholarships to entering college freshmen who are members of a congregation that is in covenant with the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey or Florida (ABCNJ) member churches ,and who will attend any accredited four-year college or university. Closes Feb. 28.
Eli Lilly & Co. Make Life Better Scholarship Program
The program provides need-based scholarships to college sophomores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio who are studying STEM-related disciplines. Closes Feb. 28.
BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship (Texas)
The program is for high-achieving students from Tarrant County, Texas. Closes Feb. 28.

Honda is offering a variety of employment, engineering development and summer programs for engineering students of color. Closes March 17.
UNCF General Scholarship Application
The UNCF General Application is used to establish an applicant pool of potentially eligible students for ongoing scholarship opportunities that are unpublished and do not require an online application. Apply by March 31, 2022.
