Attend DISD Day to learn about procurement opportunities

Dallas ISD's/Women Business Enterprise Department, in partnership with Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council, is hosting the Independent School District Procurement Networker (ISD Day) on Nov. 9, 2022. Dallas ISD is committed to informing minority and women-owned businesses about how to do business with the district, and this event will be an excellent opportunity for school district personnel to meet with diverse businesses and share procurement-related information. Participants will:

  1. Learn about current and upcoming business opportunities.

  2. Network with buyers from statewide school districts and develop key procurement contacts. 

  3. Gain helpful hints on doing business with school districts.

Attendees are asked to bring gift cards to support Dallas ISD students.

This year's ISD Day will be held in person and we invite you to join us on November 9, 2022, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is a great event for any business owner interested in doing business with Independent School Districts or Higher Education Institutions. 


You may also drop off your donations while attending Independent School District (ISD) Day in conjunction with the D/FW Minority Supplier Development Council. ISD Day will be hosted at the Council’s office located at 8828 North Stemmons Freeway, Suite 550, Dallas, TX 75247 on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This will be an excellent opportunity to network and connect with ISDs and other partnering entities.  


The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) has authorized Mason Tillman Associates, Ltd., to perform an Availability and Disparity Study.  The study will analyze the district's historical utilization of available minority/women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs). 


The Minority & Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Department is an integral component of Dallas ISD's quest to be a premier urban school district. The award winning department is committed to maximizing participation of minority and women-owned businesses in all phases of the district's purchasing and contracting activities.
