IAEOZ Summit 2024: A Total Tiger Team Approach to MBE Success!

In this edition of What Works News U Can Use, we are thrilled to provide easy access to register for the IAEOZ Summit 2024 Africa, taking place online from October 17-18, 2024. This summit aligns with our ongoing efforts to advance U.S.-Africa trade relationships, supporting the commitments made during the 2022 White House Africa Summit and promoting policies like the revised AGOA. We further celebrated these commitments at the UN General Assembly in New York.

Our journey working with Africa revealed a key need—MBE contractors require intensive training to expand successfully. That’s why we developed the IAEOZ 10-Week Online Training Program, launching after the summit for all registered attendees. This initiative prepares businesses for international opportunities by providing critical skills and knowledge.

The MBDA Federal Procurement Center (FPC) also launched its Tiger Team, a task force designed to empower MBEs to secure federal contracts, create jobs, and grow in the government marketplace. This collaborative team offers expertise in business development, proposal writing, compliance, and strategy, ensuring that minority businesses compete and thrive. A kickoff video will be available soon, showcasing this initiative.

We’re proud to highlight Logicore CEO Miranda Bouldin and our participation in key events like Hispanics in Energy on Hydrogen Hub and the UN General Assembly. Next, we head to Atlanta for the MED Week National Conference. Additionally, we celebrate the success of over 400 participants in our 10-week Government Contracting Training Program in partnership with NMSDC’s Growth Innovation and Capital Readiness Accelerator.

Our latest podcasts with industry leaders, including Ying McGuire, have prepared us to deliver continued success for our clients, creating jobs and growing revenues for small and minority-owned businesses.
