Session 1 – Understanding and managing your cash flow
In attending this course, you will understand how cash management encompasses how your company manages its operations or business activities; financial investments & financing activities. You will learn how to generate cash flow from your business in order to survive; meaning, if it is able to cover its expenses, repay your vendors, and expand your business.
You will gain a basic understanding of how to plan & generate cash from your business activities to manage your cash situation, so that you maintain the right amount of cash to meet your immediate and long-term needs.
In addition, we will discuss cash flow (asset base) financing as oppose to collateral financing, based on equipment, real-estate etc.
Session 2 - Improving cash management
This lesson plan will provide you with an insight as how to improve your Cash Management processes and procedures. Even if your Company is making a profit by making more revenue than it incurs in expenses, you will have to manage your cashflow correctly. Gain knowledge on how to improve your cash flow and how this impacts the growth and development of your business.
We will also cover how understanding your cashflow offers a clear view of the financial health of your business. A company’s cash flow is tied directly to its operations or business activities, specifically; to its investment activities (such as the purchase of the sale of capital equipment), and to its financing activities (such as raising debit or equity funding for purposes of repaying such funding. While a company can fudge its earnings, its cash flow provides an idea (blueprint) about its real financial health.
