Marc Rodriguez has been appointed to the board of directors of the US Hispanic Business Council.

Washington, D.C. - The United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) announced today the appointment of Marc Rodriguez, founding partner of Texas Lobby Partners, to its board of directors.

For over 26 years, Austin, Texas-based Texas Lobby Partners, a government relations consulting firm with unparalleled bipartisan experience, has served a wide array of clients in both the public and private sector.

As a founding partner, Rodriguez uses his personal experience as an entrepreneur, coupled with specific expertise in public policy, utility and infrastructure regulation, urban affairs and natural resources, to resolve his clients' needs.

Clients also benefit from his expertise as a political advisor, analyst, strategist and tactician.  His clients include Apple, City of San Antonio, CPS Energy, Entergy, Guidehouse, LaMantia Family, Motorola, Las Vegas Sands, San Antonio Water System and United Healthcare.

“The way I see it, if you are not working on the demographics of the new economy - the Hispanic business community - your future business pipeline in America is at risk. The USHBC is working [on this],” said Rodriguez.

Throughout his career, he has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Texas Association of Business and the Austin Area Research Organization. He also previously served as chairman of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

"I am delighted to announce Marc Rodriguez as a member of the USHBC board and one of our legislative co-chairs. His vast knowledge of public policy, as well as the breadth of his relationships in the political sphere, make him uniquely qualified to serve America's Hispanic business community,” said USHBC Chairman Don Salazar. “Marc's expertise in navigating the complex issues facing our business community will be critical to our success. We are honored to have his insights, counsel, and entrepreneurial spirit at our organization."
