Nonprofit HR honors NMSDC's Ying McGuire

NMSDC CEO and President Ying McGuire was recently named one of Nonprofit HR’s Social Impact Women to Watch in 2024. During Women’s History Month, Nonprofit HR proudly recognizes women across North America who have made significant contributions to nonprofits, associations, foundations, social enterprises, and the communities they serve. This year, they called on their expanded community to help identify and recognize outstanding women who accomplish the seemingly impossible against all odds. There were over 120 individuals nominated, with 25 ultimately chosen as finalists. They are listed below.

Tanis Crosby — executive director, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

Lisa David — president and CEO, Public Health Solutions

Bior Guigni — chief executive officer, Beat the Streets New England

Debra Kelsey — recovery coach and navigator, Fishing Partnership Support Services

Rita Mabli — president and CEO, United Hebrew of New Rochelle

Ying McGuire — CEO and president, NMSDC

Nicole McKinney — chief of organizational effectiveness and culture, Upstream USA

Morgan Monaco — president and park administrator, Prospect Park Alliance

Selena Wilson — chief executive officer, East Oakland Youth Development Center
