The awards recognized achievements of corporate members, certified and supporting organizations
The Southern Region
Minority Supplier Development Council recently handed out its annual awards
recognizing the achievements of its corporate members, certified minority-owned
businesses and supporting partner organizations.
The awards were presented
during SRMSDC’s recent Gateway Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“MBE award winners and
nominees in each category showed exemplary abilities to run successful
businesses as well as demonstrated an impact to their communities,” said
Alvin-O Williams, president and CEO, SRMSDC. “Corporate winners and nominees
were scored based on their support and mentorship to MBEs, active pursuit of
opportunity and advice creation for MBEs, and their social awareness and
involvement.”
