WASHINGTON— The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) announced it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National 8(a) Association. The MOU formalizes the relationship between the organizations and expands opportunities for additional collaboration. The MOU was signed ahead of USPAACC’s 37th annual CelebrASIAN Business + Procurement Conference in May.
“I am pleased that USPAACC has formalized its partnership with the National 8(a) Association through the MOU. The National 8(a) Association has a long history of providing education and guidance for all aspiring, current and graduate 8(a) businesses. The Federal government procures about $650 billion in goods and services annually. The small business community and USPAACC want our constituents to be active contributors to this sector of federal contracts,” said USPAACC National President and CEO Susan Au Allen.
“This MOU opens up new opportunities for National 8(a) Association and USPAACC to further efforts to connect diverse businesses with corporate and government contracts. We look forward to continued collaboration,” said National 8(a) Association President Ron Perry.
With this MOU, USPAACC and National 8(a) Association will work together to develop and evaluate new approaches to support Pan Asian American businesses.
